Steam Cleaner for Carpets - Can anyone recommend a reliable product? - polti steam cleaners

Looking to buy a steam cleaner to clean my carpets in particular, and hoped that someone of a reliable product, which was purchased and they are satisfied (or dis-recommend) rating system. I am looking for something we do not do not fall apart in 12 months. I watched the Polti 1500 (John Lewis), but some bad reviews. Cheers.

I clean a Polti Vaperetto and is ideal for everything from cleaning, carpet cleaning windows, tiles, toilets, kitchen, walls, in fact, almost everything you want to:) And no, I am a part of commission: D

We had a Vax, you have a great job. There was always a lot of fiddling with tubes and lotions, but the dirt that was raised was superb - a thick gray mud with sand.

Might be a good idea to have a rental - you take a look in the Yellow Pages, and you should be able to do a Saturday morning for a rental or just over 20 pounds. They respond to lotions. Then you see what they are. We lasted about 15 years.

VAX 1 is probably the best thing I bought a good cleaning action Bissell, but abit bulky and heavy.
